Bent rims. Can they be straightened?

    Hi Guys,

Yesterday I hit a pothole at the sandpit way too fast and bent my front rim, whats the advice? can I get this straightened or do I have to get a new rim?

    Cheers

    Sure they can be straightened

But I recommend using a professional rather than the above "field repair".

+1. I've used Bruger for aluminium welds. They were great. Recommend you see them.

Just go into any of those places and ask for a rim job.

Yes they can, I had my cast (front) wheel straightened and trued in Christchurch, through "Street and Sport" Manchester street!

    ^^^^LOL!! (Tru tho)

There is a place further down the island in palmy I think, WheelTech or sum such.

For anything like above, call your nearest shop, or perhaps Mag and Tyre type place, they usually have to deal with customers who drive like they would need the use of a wheel straightener/repairer
