mmm I must have misread the title.

I was expecting a thread on how to stop the woman on the back moving about on her seat.

Presumably if "she on back" is knickerless then the abrasion goes up, or at least a vacuum forms, and she moves less.

I used to complain about people who do this. But now I celebrate.

    Works for snails...or does it?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

It's a free country, the only requirement is to wear a helmet. There was a reason Helen Clark and Labour were voted out at the last election - or were you keen on having your shower flow restricted, among other things?

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

I was riding in the 80's when BRONZ were fighting compulsory helmets. At that stage I was single, aged in my 20's and had no responsibilities. I fought hard to not have to wear a lid, and got many a ticket for not wearing a lid.

Here I sit in my mid40's, with kids, mortgage and a good life I wish to continue with. ATGATT is my choice these days.

Things change and you might be suprised at how your attitude to pain and lack of income changes as you acquire more experience.

TO each their own, but don't expect others to clean up after you.

Very sensible Ratti. Unfortunately some of the biggest whingers about freedom of choice still expect the tab to be picked up by the tax payer.
It will be many of those same people who ACC use as scapegoats for their new policies. Holy moley - that might mean heaps of bike riders!

If SPF90 is so good as a protective lubricant, why do I have 2 kids ?

Its other use as a lubricant to reduce friction while sliding on tarmac is still debatable, but i'm sure someone on youtude has a film of someone testing it.

It would not have been so bad, had she been good looking, but she wasn't, so that is another reason she should have covered up.
Please Mr ACC, my 1300cc bike was passed by a 400cc bike on a track day, can I have my fees reduced ?
