    Replacement seat covers?

as my name here implies leather really isnt an option for me so when i buy a bike i will be wanting to get a vinyl or other synthetic cover for the seat. the question is are there any decent ones out there? finances will be my main guide in buying my first bike and a gn250 is looking to be my best bet.
    thanks

while your choice is your own, are you saying you would throw away a perfectly good seat because of the covering? bit wasteful IMHO

I think you will find that leather seats are very rare, and certainly only found on very expensive bikes. The seat on a GN250 will be a vinyl fabric.

Ummm- you wont find any GN250s that have a leather cover- its pretty much only Harley Davidsons (they are a big heavy steel thing that is shaped a bit like a motorbike) - That get them fitted, they are very impractical and expensive.

Budget bike= budget seat. A GN will have a vinyl seat It will be full of solvents and good ol CFCs!
a replacement one from any good auto trimmer will be about $60 made and about $40 to fit.

Somehow I find the thought of a vegan biker immensely depressing. Nothing personal.

Yep. Good old man made vinyl. Better to have a factory than a field.

I guess nobody has explained that one of the byproducts of riding a motorcycle is eating bugs!
