If we saw the photo we probably wouldn't be able to see the face for the hoody...

It isn't just Christchurch, a woman I work with parked her XR8 outside a house in a small town near here while attending a social occasion. When she came out the car had been keyed right down one side.

Hubby gave her a hard time, he came to the conclusion that it was her fault. Something to do with the way she had parked it. Next day though he found that his work ute had received the same treatment.

They post photo's of guys who steal from the fruit stall honesty boxes, and the folks who shoplift at the supermarket, why not vandals.

Wow, I wondered why you had the guzzi in the underground parking (I was one of the guys in the bmw as you left). Rules or not, i've parked my gsxr down there on several occassions when doing night shift a year or so back. The reason for the rule I was told is that they're more prone to being flammable?? go figure.

I'm glad they've modified the rules though! Seems to be a stream of tossers outside on friday/saturday nights.

Definitely get it sorted, i'm a tad envious of that unusally sweet bike.

"Police 10-7", "Crimewatch" and other tv shows broadcast pictures of people that they wish to talk to...

Wow You have a very tidy sport! hope insurance will pay out.
Guzzi's are happy to be dirty- as long as they are usually 2 busy enjoying a good ride to be cleaned.

If it were my bike, I'd pay for an advert in the Press, publish the the perp's photo and offer a reward for his name and address

Smash a bottle on his (the vandals') face and watch him complain about how his face has a big dent in it.

Well its becoming a common thing in this country you work hard to get the toys to play hard and other low life scum try to ruin it for you! My baby stays locked away form joe public, my triumph had all the stickers peeled off it on the side of the road, and my cars been broken into twice in four months with scumbags trying to steal my stereo. The first time they were successful the second time not so good as I stuck a sharp piece of steel under the seat when they got into the car to pull the stereo out they ended up with a perforated A Hole! ha ha ha blood trail down the drive and no doubt a flying visit to the Dr for a tetanus shot!

Guess the trick is to not forget that it's there when you start it up first thing eh.

    WOW...over 800 views!
Thank you to all the Kiwi Bike members for sharing the pain
"Phat Girl" is getting a sponge bath and double! polish on monday (day off), she's my daily transport and has performed faultlessly since the "attack" so I have to stop sulking and treat her right
The insurance company has informed me that the claim will increase my yearly costs and basically screw up my insurance policey, so I will have to front up and pay for the repair myself...sniff.
Thank you ALL for the great feed back and understanding...I am truly blown away by the response.

Much Respect and Regards-Willy & Phat Girl
