Cool Back home again after my operation.

I am now back home again after spending 4 days in hospital for Adominal Hysterectomy

MadDuck, thanks for calling in to see me in hospital, when you were on your way to Taupo.

Thanks to those who sent me well wishes in "PM".

The surgery on Friday morning went well, but Sunday night my left lung collapsed. I had a infection and they were treating me for Pneumonia.

I am ok now... just at home resting and recovering.
I aint allowed to lift a thing for 6 weeks... so no housework, no hanging up washing or mowing the lawns.. etc etc etc

I will not be out riding my bike for 8 weeks.

I can sit at the comp for short periods of the day.... otherwise I am sleeping or lying on the bed watching TV.

So all ride safe out and keep on smiling....

    Jesus! You poor thing...

Well, feel better soon, and enjoy the time off (although it's a shame you can't use it to ride....)

Glad you made it through Crashe. You'll be back on to work and stuff in no time so take advantage of your rest period while you can.

Hope your recovery goes well. Take care. I expect your post count will have a dramatic increase - nothing like KB to while away the boredom.

4 days too long for me! I wish you a speedy recovery crashe.

A word of warning while you are in 'bikeless' mode - don't read the Ak KB ride threads!

    Get well soon.

lol yeah well the Friday night nurse took the Pethadine pump off me cos she reckons I was hitting it too much... and I wasnt even touching it.... one has to press hard to make it work...

They drugged me totally after the op as I was in a lot of pain after the op in the recovery room.
