I went round and checked on Fraser's house last night. Luckily that he has Roadtripdiva there at the moment. she is feeding the cats and baking for him - bless her!
I will go over to Waikato hospital tomorrow and see how the ugly bastards doing!
of course all the best wishes that you guys are offering on here- I will pass on to him and I might even see if he is capable of typing a few words back to you all.
I will report back on Friday

Thanks for that, caveweta. Don't put too much pressure on him to respond to us. It is more important that he rests up and recovers.

Well!- I went to visit the poor bugger yesterday- He's in ward 12 now, they had just wheeled him out of ICU when I got there.
They have him on all the best drugs- he has a hose in every orifice!! he was asleep when I walked in but I quietly picked up a magazine to read and he heard me and instantly said 'gidday Stu' He's had some pretty heavy surgery and they have removed a couple of items that were too badly damaged to repair but he insists that He will still ride. Fraser says hello to everyone and thanks for the concern and the wishes! I asked him if he wanted a photo of him with all his plumbing but he just wants to get it all pulled out and get home without too much to remind him of it all! He reckons a week there then home and sitting in the sun for a couple more and he will be back on deck
    What a fuckin Soldier!

He's only worried someone will replace him lol
He'll be enjoying the drugs, no doubt, but not the reasoh for them.
Glad to hear he's okay(ish) and thanks for the update

    Hey Stu,
I don't personally know him but has he allowed you to give us a brief description on what he's recovering from so we can sorta gauge how he might be?

Anyway hope he gets better as soon as poss. Best wishes!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Man, is he being brave or what!?! So good to hear that he is keeping his positive attitude despite all the damage and subsequent surgery/drugs. Just take it one day at a time.

Best wishes to you again, Fraser

Well Fraser is home as of Tuesday- He has zippered up access ports on both sides of his gut!- (lucky for him that chicks dig scars!)
lots of stitches and a bit of fluid on the lung still. poor bastard can't cough without screwing his face up and making himself even uglier!.
He is in good spirits but has been told not to lift anything heavier than a coffee cup for 3 months. And no riding!
He has got about 6 different types of pills to take and still has a drain in- But Im sure that in a week he will be walking the dog a bit and looking for something to do other than watching endless DVDs

Fraser is blown away by all the well wishes, texts, emails and phonecalls that he has been getting and will be writing words to that effect in the coming issues of BRM and DRD.

Is great your friend is back home Stu, it always feels better to recover in familiar surrounding & where mates can easily drop in for a chat & a help out

So are Fraser's pets glad to see him or have they moved into your place now?
