Thumbs up A DIFFERENT kind of camera for videoing your ADV bike trips

    Hi all,

Just discovered something a bit different on the video camera front

Sorry if this has been discussed before but I only just found this wee bit of clever technology

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Electronics...-275544724.htm

30 frames a second, powered direct from your bikes auxillary circuit, 1280 x 960 pixel resolution, built in GPS module ADN acceleromoter giving speed, braking and acceleration, all linked to map coordinates
Photo appears a bit fish-eye-ish in the demo shot, but the other features make it fantastic when exploring or recording new routes etc

    Hope the info is useful

    Cheers, Stu

Interesting. It does almost look like that sample shot is through another pane of glass like a windscreen. It's more fish eye on one side and at the bottom of the pic it almost likes like a car dash.

I wonder if the video/GPS data it captures is stored as seperate industry standard format files or whether it's packaged into some single proprietry format which would make it hard to work with outside of their own software.

Looks quite eye of the fishy.
