Insurance Help Needed

Im getting my bike in about a month and have yet to get my Learners licence, but SHOULD have it by the time my bike arrives.
Was hoping that someone could answer a few questions for me, because of work I haven't got the time to be ringing around insurance companies.
Basically what I want to know is, can I get insurance sorted before I get my bike? (most likely not??)
Would I need to have my learners licence BEFORE trying to get insurance?
What company/ies should I go through, which are the best/cheapest etc?
What kinda cost would I be looking at?

Any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers, but I tried that . . . for some reason our web master wont let me see the results, apparently my search contains swear words and pornography?! WTF?! Unfortunately working for a govt department I can hardly ask the IT peoples to help either . . . . Thats cool im sure I can sort it!
