    ST1300 - The Gentleman's Express...

http://www.bikepoint.com.au/reviews/2010/-18419 ....................describes the Pan Euro as The Gentleman's Express

Does that make Shafty a Gentleman? Surely!

Considering the 20,000+kms around NZ that I have done with Missus Duc on these machines ( which I rent on occassion) ... I agree.

I really like them for what they do.

Nah, maybe you bought one to try and be a gentleman?

If wasn't in my twenties, and in my forties or more, I would definitely be looking at one. Those buggers with massive fuel tanks on the likes of Grand Challenges, Southern Cross, etc, make mincemeat out of it, while I plan my 200km hops. I've heard rumours its going to be replaced by a new one, and that Honda aren't looking to use the VFR1200 as the replacement for it (not suprised, the fuel tank is a laugh in comparison).

Depends on which Gentlemans club you ride it to Pete !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
