    Dogs on the road

Dunno how many others have had this experience, but I repeated it yet again this morning...fortunately in an 80km/hr zone and for once I was going 80k and had time to avoid.
Dumb bloody mutt ran out into the middle of the road, looked confused (really did), turned to go back, saw a car coming the other way, looked at me again and must have decided I was smaller than the car so came my way again...all this in milliseconds it seemed. Hitting the Stebel changed his mind for the better and he reversed enough for me to get through without contact.
After yesterday's pair of sheep I reckon I need a cannon mounted on the front of the bike to blow a way through the livestock...

    I hear ya,

Yesterday's ride took me past a big (labrador sized) one skittled on the side of the road, and later in the ride there was another similar sized one roaming in the middle of the road, luckily it was in the other lane, I did blip the horn at it, to make sure it would stay in that lane tho. Cage coming the other way managed to slow down in time. I also blipped the horn to some kids lined up on the side of the road, they were selling some kind of fruit and waving to the bikes. Both times I took a moment to consider getting that chrome stebel.
    Keep on chooglin'
