Tom Cruise was involved in a motorcycle accident in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon, narrowly avoiding injury according to HollywoodLife.com, who broke the news of the crash.

According to the report, Cruise was riding down a local street in Los Angeles when a car ran through a stop sign, causing the actor to slide on his bike into another car. Cruise was reportedly limping following the crash, but refused to be taken to the hospital. His publicist, however, tells E! Online that reports of an accident are "totally false."

Ahhhh, like that spate of "so-and-so had been pronounced dead...." all these celebrities who supposedly have kicked the bucket only to be confirmed alive and well a bit later in the day. I mean, seriously, what's the point? Do the media/celebrities/managers/whoever think we don't have enough in our lives to get on with without fake reports of what's happening in their lives? For goodness sake: GET ONE (a life that is). Except for us here in kb, it doesn't apply to us...
