not sure of the logic here?

I have come off at 70 km/h in the rain and had less damage than that (in school uniform)
picked bike up and rode home (had a few sore places but good as new a week later)

    Are they dead?
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Doesn't matter what the logic is - I know of a guy who came off at 30 km/h and hit a lamp post - died from head injuries. My off recently was @ 50km/h and was lucky to walk away with a grapefruit sized haemotoma sticking out of my leg.

I was waiting for that stuff to come up.

some people are lucky, get up, brush the dirt off their shoulders and continue riding. others as we can see not so lucky

A guy from my village lost it at about 30mph on a wet corner. Slid in to an oncoming truck. He died. Sometimes there is no logic.

A mate of mine years ago fell of the back of a bike he was Pillion on it wasn't the fall that did the damage, it was the car following them, if he had a helmet on his mother would not have to care for him full time to this day, yep feeding him and wiping his arse, among other things, there are Worse things that can happen to you than Death.

That's what I always say to

    wear your leathers....

    And don't come off.....

Opinions are like arseholes: Everybody has got one, but that doesn't mean you got to air it in public all the time....

Probably wouldn't have had "a few sore places" and to wait for the week to come good?

Only wearing a t shirt huh? You would get along well with the naturist who rides his bicycle naked in Wellington.

Wear pants next time and stop scaring the children.
