Another avenue for you (TH) to look into is going to the Kawasaki sandpit and hiring a dirt bike for a day. I am guessing the GPX is probably not the lightest machine around, and hiring a dirt bike (which are a lot lighter) is a good way to get your balance sorted and ride in a place where there are less people, no cars and a far more forgiving surface and steed.
Regarding your threads, I think people would sympathise over a few threads saying you have fallen off but NOT beside a thread where you are asking how the bike should be controlled or whatever when you are doing 140 (double the learners limit).
