Half a days labour sounds fine to me. Although the price you've quoted here sounds a bit steep. Have you tried a standard auto electrician? There are a few out there that can find their way around a bike, as the electrics are similar if not easier than cars to work on.

2 hrs to install one at an audio/security place our company uses on my gixxer 750, cost me $40! Never had a problem.

Phone Mongoose for a quote, depending on the bike it should be $120 to $150.
Half a days labour my butt. Sound very much like they don't know what they're doing.

Yup thats the deal its a simple job really I would not pay more than that, When I figured out the ignition it took less than half an hour to install including remote start.

Good on you great alarm, just hate how it always has to be on
