Hey, anyone know what was up on SH16 up towards Wellsford. There were 2 patrol cars, 2 4wd's & some bikes stopped on one of the link rd's thru to Warkworth & I passed another 2of patrols, a fire engine & an ambo all heading down from Wellsford. Didn't look good, hope it wasn't a kb

I was at the rest stop just after Kaukapakapa at about 9:15am this morning. A bunch for bikes about 6-9 of them went by .. then 5 - 10 mins later an ambulance goes by.... Rode on and about 1km down the road, there is a left hander and there was police, fire engine, 4x4 jeep, some cruisers and some sports bikes. Don't know what happened though.

gees it must have been a busy day for the cops up there. just as i was coming round a bend 2 patrol cars yanked a harley (or some other meaty as cruiser) off the road.
