We found some broken bits of the helmet and some bits from the gopro about 30m from where I ended up so our guess is I must have been upright with the sheep stuck between the engine and front wheel for 70 odd meters then I hit the deck and slid for another 30m. The sheep was found in two halves and looks to have been sawn in 2 by the front tire (MT21)- surreal feeling looking at the site I have to say!
just goes to show how important good gear is to have on the body...nobody really wants to find out how good, but am pleased that you did better than the sheep. You mention in a previous post about body armour, and this was one of the reasons why I bought the Klim badlands pro jacket. It is one of the few around that comes with all the armour in it i.e. elbows, shoulders, back and chest. Most jackets have shoulder and elbow, then the next step up, have quality back protecters..but it seems that very few have the chest plate. I opted to get one that has it in all the time, as this way it ensures that you have it with you and all times.
