    I read something interesting today

Reading Petrolhead Mag today & they brought up a very good point. A Blenheim dude imported a hot rod Sedan delivery from the states thru a small company. Turned out Customs seized it as they picked up it didn't have the original old speedo as it had a new digital speedo thing & therefore mileage was not deemed to be true.

Although it was a formality that hadn't been addressed by the importing company, it caused him headaches & prob extra cash. he had to get statements from various frieght & importing companies etc
This isn't a dig at customs cos they do a sterling job but something to think about if thinking of bringing in a bike with a vapor speedo display.

Interesting point but I can't help but think Customs were milking that one.

Anyone with half a brain realizes hotroads do not have many original parts so to me that is some wee wanker with a small tiddle trying to justify his job.

Wouldn't wonna have a roof chop cos they may make you go back and get the rest of the roof.
