Well blow my cone, I just got off the phone with the Finance Company after reading the email they sent through today.
They wanted my postal address!

Yes indeed, the cheque will be posted out in 2-3 weeks, hell I can wait that long.

I did some sums yesterday Tart. Um, they have effectively charged Maha interest for borrowing his own money back. SO, not only has he borrowed his own money back at usury rates, but he has not received one red cent in positive interest from this finance company for the use of his money.

SO, he needs to be re-imbursed for the interest they charged him to borrow his own money, then, they need to pay him for the interest they should have if he had invested with them. The refund is paltry by comparison. Lets just see the colour of the money forst. But there will be no threats, they simply will have to pay.

We attempted to get Fair Go on board over the settlement debacle. I talked to the finance company this time when they first came to us about it, she said to me, lets just get this one issue sorted out, then we can investigate the settlement. I am watching this space carefully, but put it this way, it is not over by a long shot.

The Money turned up today, a big fat $7,000 cheque will be banked this very afternoon.....

They demanded the amount I got for my Yamaha when I sold it, and I paid them $7,000 in May of 2006. That money was never credited against my borrowings.

It is now termed as an Over Payment.
