My wife & I were planning a holiday in Taranaki, so I took my WR250R along to ride the legendary Whangamomona charity trail ride. 186 riders turned up even though Whangamomona is about as isolated as you can get in New Zealand. There were 3 trail sections with big hilltop vistas, some mudholes & too much dust. The video shows the first 2 sections but the last was too much fun to stop & take photos. Sorry but you should have been there too.
I also did a there & back on the 42nd Traverse.

Cool was a good ride apart from the dust.............I remember seeing you as you would have been the only guy with a number plate,My mate said he stopped and had a chinwag to ya he was on a KTM450,Hes even in the vid
Your right the last part was by far the best didnt feel like many of the riders did the whole ride seemed abit quiet on the last section to me
Even on the old ones if you dont race serious and you wanna just go do the odd club day and smoke everyone on a big old 5hundy it great and if you get beaten you have a handful of excuses
