I don't think he's got it yet. You'll know about it tho when he does cause the break-in ride (pin intended?) will probably the 6 oclock news!

Nope - havent got one...but had a "taste" - unfortunately a very short ride, but enough.
Some bikes feel "right", when you just sit on them. The K5 is one of those bikes, for me, anyway.- the riding position, the reach, seat, balance - all that stuff. The previous models - 600, 1000 and even the 750, have just not quite done it. The nearest of the 1000's would be the R!.(for me)
A short burst 3-4Km was all - unfortunately - but it feels ...slightly underwhelming at first - until you realise just how fast you are gaining speed. For me - the whole bike just "gelled"
Looks like I'm converted back to Suzuki......

Now, wheres me balaclava.....sawn off shotgun.......fast getaway bike.......

See there is your problem... fast get away bike. Wouldn't it be easier to just steal the suzi (or kidnapp as the case may be)

p.s. be sure to get a blue and white one cause then it will just be one of the millions. You don't want to go buying that pink one straight off the bat...... did i say pink
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

Test rides should come with a warning - "this ride could damage the health of your bank account" or "will make you disatisfied with your current bike"

I took a bike out for a test ride this week, just for curiosity really, but now I want one. Damn.

One I took should have been labelled "This ride will make you dissatisfied with any other bike for the rest of your life."

I know exactly what you mean Bike shops should check your bank balance before they let you test ride your dream bike... I'm ruined now, every time I see a bike I want I feel like it's only there to torment me.
