    Taranaki gets cheese-cutters

Just drove past the roadworks for New Plymouth's newest piece of interstate highway (a.k.a the Bell-Block Bypass), and what do I see being installed straight up the middle?
What appears to be a nice shiny row of brand new biker graters.
    I Hope I'm wrong.

Real clever eh Hike up ACC levies and at the same time make the roads more dangerous..if they cant tax us off the road they try to kill us off the road.

Anyone got an old manikin we can dress up & spread across the new cheesecutter with some banners to get the message across. Thousands of cars pass the spot parallel to the new road at present & it would make a good protest if done properly. Any cheesecutter banners around still we can borrow?

I went past there yesterday - the post-holes are only about 1 metre or so apart - too close for cheesecutters?

There's just wooden posts and a rope marker there at the moment.

1 metre is about right. You are getting cheesecutter.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
