uly is slimmed down a little

This is how to make your uly look good. It looks alot better less the backrest etc. All thats needed now is an XT shock to lower the back end. the racing stepladder can be a handful when slow manouvering.

Nothing to do with it. The good ship Buell was Torpedoed by Admiral Harley when it was all - as Spike Miligan would say - in pairfect workin' order.

The sinkage came from the Mother ship.

Ooooh - That would be the last thing I'd want to do to mine. The long travel suspension is one of the things I dig most about the machine. Good being tall - I have the tall seat and would like it taller.

I ran it without the triple tail for 12 months too. It does look more streamlined and that beaver tail is so dorky looking when unfolded, but the utility of sticking my camera bag on it made me put it back on.

I tried to get a handrail fabricated to go in the bolt holes when I took it off - but everyone I asked thought it was too hard. Maybe the tail of an STT might be the answer for the long beak look of the std naked uly tail.

That's the sort of bike I know I should like and I'm trying real hard to but I just can't... the front end looks wonky. Maybe I'm too conventional.

I do get where Hillbilly racing were going with theirs though. 150kg, 150HP, >100Nm. Well hello, Evel Knievel style.

Yeah - but you ride a TLS. This immediately disqualifies you from passing judgments on style. :-P
