Comparison of diiferent driving laws in Europe

The other things I've noticed since returning to Blighty after a few years is driving is much more free flowing (jams aside) cars arebrisker off the mark and don't take things personally when overtaken. The road code is considerably more logical. Roads are prioritised so a supermarket entrance doesn't have priority over a main road.

Maybe Europeans don't have giant inferiority complexes

Love the idea of "following distance" cameras in Germany

    And Italy:
"However, for fines that arrive by post Italians have to name the person driving at the time (so point losses tend to be evenly distributed among family, including granny who never exceeds 30kph anyway)."

"Cane cattivo Rover" (Bad dog Rover)One more point and you'll lose your licence
