    Vincent twin, first ride after 4 1/2 yr resto

    After four and a half years on the work bench I finally headed out for my first ride on my Vincent today, beats eating Easter eggs I tell ya....

    hey I'm having trouble telling myself not to thrash it! among other things are new pistons to run in etc it's not like this modern stuff that doesn't need a running in.
    Saw a neat looking MHR while I was out too, dunno who was craning their neck the most!

    You've done a stunning job and sincere congratulations. Like everyone else, I'm dribbling all over the keyboard - what a bike.

    Coincidentally, a mate of mine went to a classic meeting in Aussie this weekend and he took the attached photograph of the racing Irving Vincent which the renowned writer Alan Cathcart was riding. It's just so good to see that the Vincent name is still upheld by enthusiasts like you.

    Very Very nice i bet its got a great sound to it, i see you are local, will have to hook up for cruzie ride in the near future, the run in seems to take forever and i have only 500miles on the Ariel RedHunter so could take that out for the ride and clock up some more miles.
