Help fitting slip on

It is only about an hours work but having only moved here in November I have no tools, need a ratched, couple of sockets and a scredriver! lol Anybody able to help me out, I can drop up (auckland) or i live in the CBD

I have a comprehensive tool kit so as to ba able to handle most mechanical maladies at any time. The tools therein have done hundreds of hours on Harley Havidson motorcycles, probably many more on Brit's but the truth is; they have done much more on Jap machinery. Even my Whitworth tools fit Jap machinery if you bash them hard enough.

A basic socket set and a screwdriver can be purchased from most auto-parts stores for FUCK ALL! Probably less than the gas required to travel to some far-flung suburb to borrow them. The only plus from all of this is to be able to go for the ride to bludge such equipment. Brains would suggest flagging the shiny pipes, buying tools and gas then waiting to be able to fit the pipes when I can AFFORD them (!) myself. That would mean that I could ride further now (coz I have gas money), buy some tools for my ever-increasing collection and later on having the satisfaction of using MY tools on MY bike to effect a fairly simple operation ALL BY MY FUCKIN' SELF!

This is where motorcycling is going wrong.

At no time did he say he needed a hand, he obviously can do the job and it's fine if you need a special tool, you need to ask. He doesn't.

Fuck me, a screwdriver? He doesn't have a screwdriver? Why is he walking the planet?

Whats with all the aggro? I have a shed full of tools arriving here to me on container, with all my furniture, tv etc etc. I moved here in November, Everything got shipped in February (now that i know where i am living and have the space) and takes about 6 weeks.

Thanks for the help guys, i might take you up on it. I didnt come on here to ask for my ass wiped, I asked for a favor. Having owned bikes for about 7 years I understand the issues involved (shit i restored a T100!) I also restore classic brit leyland cars, i know where things can go wrong.

At this time I needed a favor, if that cant be offered by you seapiss, that's no problem. There is no need to go crazy on one!

All sorted, i picked up the bits and pieces I needed in Warehouse (shit) but they will do until my tools arrived. Fit them on Thurs and they sound great (and look decent too!)
