    Is this VFR any good?

Any of you Palmy boys and girls know anything about this bike ? Im quite keen but obviously being in Dorkland its a bit tricky to go look the thing over.

If by chance you do. Any info on general condition would be great, but also any specifics like forks and fork seals and consumables like discs and pads, chain and sprockets and tyres would e awesome.

    Cheers

Typical tardme. Pretty pictures but they don't really show anything of interest, not even a proper shot of the tyres.... Did he want a medal for cleaning his bike or does he actually want to sell it?

It's a Honda, so as long as you like the cock, it's great.

    Righto,
I actually know the owner... What a fluke.
He is one of the fibre glass boys at work (Okay, Aeronautical Composites Technician), and has repaired and created a few bits for the Team Air Force ZXR450.
His dad works at a motorcycle shop in Palmerston North.

I can tell you this bike is straight, and has had no need for any fiberglassing in the current owners hands.
I can actually get some better pics of it tomorrow (assuming the owner hasn't taken it for a ride) and post them up for you.
I will also give you a report on it if you like.

The photos are actually on the Tarmac at Ohakea right outside my hanger....

Um... Considering he is too junior, and hasn't been deployed, he would gratefully receive a medal.
Unfortunately, unlike his co-workers, his cleaning medal won't be recognised by the Queen.

    Good thought though.

And TBH, I don't think he really wants to sell it....

    No worries.
When the current owner got it, it sounded awesome with that pipe on.
It was running well and truely on 4, so there should be no major problems with the engine (very expencive on these) side of things...

Will be a pleasure to do a report for you.

Oh, and as for getting it to Auckland, I have come up with a plan... A man has to think while doing dishes
See, we can get back down to Ohakea very easily..... and I wouldn't mind doing a 550k trip on a 400

Has it been jacked up in the rear? (Certainly looks like it)
