Bolt-on kit from USA about US$4k. Fits under the fairings - only evidence of it being there is a boost gauge on the RH fairing. I rode one in the USA about 3 years ago - unbelievably smooth and powerful, 250hp @ rear wheel on the dyno. When I got home and rode my non-turbo Bus it was like the difference between my TLthou and the bus, when riding the TL after the bus meant riding at full throttle looking for that extra acceleration you become used to!

No iam the retarded waste of money ideas police, but if you are American or from hamilton/west auckland you wouldnt know what that means....

Seriously why dont you also add chrome wheels and extended swingarms to you squid bikes....
unless you already have those of course.

Well thats strange because squids usualy ride GSXRs and busas in their shorts and jandals....(usualy with chrome spike windscreen bolts, and skull stickers and turbo kits) and thats where the nick "squid" comes from....fast in straight line, slow for corner.. just like squiddies swimming.....

I'm sure all that carbon fibre, relocated number plate and yoshis give the RRRRRRR squid points.

Now THAT STUFF is a waste of money. All about posing, nothing about going any faster.

The problem with a turbo kit is that then you'll need to spend big bucks on a extended swingarm, a super wide rim to carry a 300 wide tyre and a gross paint job. Then move to America .........

Lol look properly on the middle and last picture, there are bits of rubber comming of the edges but what do i know

where is your GSXR , i wanna see some pictures too?...there is bit of squid in all of us! (but some over do it with flame paint jobs and turbo kits, and by ridding Hardley Davidson)

Cool so a Super Squid would be riding a Hardly Drivable, with a turbo, a flame paint job, chrome wheels and a long swingarm, skulls and spikes, while wearing shorts and jandals.

Iam sure that OP was just trolling us with that idea and he would never bastardize his lovely K9 busa with such an attrocities like turbo/supercharge kits.

Otherwise while my RRRRRRRR possibly has some squid points its long long way away from turboed busa...and difinately isnt gixxer (those come with squid points brand new from factory)

Not read past the 1st post, but if ya serious I know the guy (in chch) he works from home his work is perticular he is a qualified auto sparky, has made the very tricky exhaust for my turbo, owns and has built 2 GSX1400 turbos and even did a YZ450.

I have a 2005 turbo Hayabusa and my friend runs a 2004 turbo Hayabusa. Both systems are self developed, very reliable (now) and are user friendly. DON'T buy an off the shelf system. They are very basic, often poorly constructed and will have limitations requiring a lot of development. You could probably get a real world 185rwhp with the usual pipe, filter, power commander etc mods but you won't get the torque a turbo can produce. You need to decide how much power you need and what you will use the bike for. I'm running about 215rwhp on the street and there aren't many places you can use that power. 5th gear is the first gear I can give the bike full throttle without the front wheel lifting at this hp. Suspension and brakes have been upgraded and I have the ability to run at 260rwhp but NZ roads are too rough for this. Remember that power is proportional to fuel and realistically my fuel range is limited to 300km if I'm conservative. You would be looking at about $4,000 to $5,000 NZD for a basic set-up producing over 200rwhp reliably at low boost.
