    Help for stuck KBer? (Picton)

I have a good mate heading for Dunedin but Alternator has gone on his '04 Busa. Crash starting is getting wearing and it is first long trip with better half on the back. He really needs to buy battery charger in Piton/Blenheim or serious help with Alternator which is hard to find on Easter weekend. he is currently on ferry crossing to Picton. Anyone able to help or give suggestions?

    thanks

Blenheim has a Warehouse ... but even overnight charging wont be enough to run far with lights ON as per the new law. A charged battery should get him to Christchurch though. (without lights)

and park on a hill ... just in case ...

thanks for these ideas guys. I know he is planning to try and reduce the load while the bike is running as the battery is draining real fast. He may have to wait til Tuesday to get the problem fixed and limp down to Dunedin in the mean time
