    No gear at all,NGAA.

While out for a walk on huia road this afternoon,I saw a GSXR600 ride past me,shorts and a t-shirt,I thought to myself, okay another one,a lot of people seem to do that, but he then rode past me again, and I then noticed he wasn't wearing any shoes at all,he was barefoot,no sandals, nothing. Would that not hurt when your changing gears?

I could not believe it,and just stared for a second shaking my head.

    It was a 09 150cc Piaggio Fly,not a slow 50cc Scoot.
I'm not sure what's worse: people who ride motorcycles while wearing jandals or people who are incapable of inserting a space after a punctuation mark.

Indeed. One is an act of carefree indifference. The other is a deliberately calculated action. Both by people who should arguably know better.

Was listening to the radio the other day and the guy on was talking about his time in A&E, At that stage leather jandals were all the rage and all the girlies with scooters were putting their feet down to brake and the jandals were slicing up between their toes......

The OP's picture bothers me a little bit....

I actually suspect that its a guy not a girl. The leg, more specifically the ankle and calf appears male shaped and not as refined as a females, she/he is wearing a hoody under a fluro vest (big fashion fopa) and the face in the left and right mirror appear to be that of a male...

I wear full gear on my scooter. Why? Cos when I come off, it will hurt less.

Plus some awesome guy on an R6 came up to my at the lights, looked me up and down and gave me a thumbs up. I'm assuming it was the the gear.

    Meh.

    Meehhhhhh!!!

I wrote off my first bike wearing jandals. I'm still alive, still have all my toes. The injury that gives me the most grief (apart from the incedental damage from being chainsawed up the middle in 2010) is my left heel, which is giving me grief every day, especially when I get it up first thing in the morning. That was a by-product of writing off my VFR750 when SumDick u-turned into me. I was wearing ALL the gear, including decent armoured boots. Obviously, if I'd been wearing my jandals I would've been OK.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
