Thats not good to hear, the worse thing you can do is relax too much, got to keep yourself busy without being stressful.
hopefully your up and about soon.

Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

yep my chest did take a small impact ...but the reason i flatlined was my blood pressure dropped to almost nothing..possibly caused by to much gtn spray they are not to sure but luckily when they brought in the crash cart they found a tiny bit of electrcal activity still in my heart........and whats it like to come that close to dying well..i felt really dizzy then went into the most relaxed sleep i have ever had then sudddenly there were all these concerned faces calling my name..it actually took some time for me to believe what had happened .... it was the horrified look on my son tims face as they had not had time to clear him out of the room when all the action started...he said it was just like a scene out of .... ER.. thanks all you guys and gals ive still got my xr100 and will still rebuild that.... prity tired and some awesum bruises and a sore chest from the cpr

Good to see you made it. They say time heals.

FWIW my old fella put us thru something similar in January. He gave it all away but one pacemaker later he's back at work a month early and back on his bike. He is enjoying life again. You never know how you are going to feel when you get better. Good luck anyway.

That's some pretty serious shit. I guess if it ultimately comes down to biking or living then it's pretty much a no brainer.

Shit mate that's a bummer! Get well soon, take it easy! I can understand why your not risking another episode like that and giving it a rest. Being alive to watch your boy ride would be priority for me as well! Heal up fast laser!

Oh btw: don't give up biking altogether mate a cruise on a Sunday on a road bike is food for the soul as well!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
