Fire Breathing ZXR250!!!

ok, well not quite! But it is running way better than it was.

I put some decent bike oil in it (had 'car/bike' oil in it) and got it a new battery. Revs no probs but seems to run at about 90-95% and then have little bursts of full power, im assuming shit coming through from the tank as it hasnt had more than 1L in it for last year or more.

Took it into spectrum to get the cam chain and maybe the shims(?) done coz it rattles a little. The mechanic said it sounds sweet other than the cam chain, and he's gonna check the carbs for me too.

Once he's done his magic it's of to the Rego shop for compliance/wof/reg and then it'll be a road legal beastie

I really need to get it done properly coz this can shit really isnt holding up.

But the flaming zorst thing is a plan, just gotta get another can so that if I screw it up i can still ride the bike, plus im not too keen on setting my ass on fire

Lol, nah ask tristan he empted his can, I just smashed my baffles and it gives me some errrr feedback ( I have bigger headers + slipon full 3 piece system entire exhaust system slides apart even each header, which is cool!) bastard backfires like a bitch after some redlining :P

Fairings are so over rated :P

yeh, i've got a two pice system (can and chrome headers) the can being a slipon, i want to get a Z1000 twin U exhaust for mine.

I know what u mean about the fairings aye. i'll post some pics some time when it's properly painted etc.
