    * Article history

A driving instructor who hid her drinking problem was banned from the roads for three years today, after falling off her motorbike three times during a lesson.

Sandra Kenyon was unable to get up after the final spill and was found by police to have two bottles of French brandy, one empty and the other three-quarters full, in her jacket.

    Taking the piss or what?
The article then goes on to say.....

The motorcycle lesson started with her sliding off her bike and struggling to get back on, and ended with a group of concerned passersby gathering as she lay helpless beside the machine after her third fall.

It's not that hard to ride a bike drunk without binning it.

Bloody hell how had she been getting away with it previously. And how come no one noticed and did anything?

I suppose if your riding is that bad some might not notice the difference.

Motorbike instructor falls off bike 3 times giving one lesson.

From the UK - land on the loonys:

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...es-lesson.html

A motorcycle instructor who was found to be nearly four times the drink-drive limit after repeatedly falling off her bike during a lesson was banned from driving for three years today.

Sandra Kenyon, 46, who fell off three times as she gave a lesson in Bradford, West Yorkshire, last month was also ordered to do 200 hours unpaid work.

Kenyon had 131 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - almost four times the limit of 35mg, Bingley Magistrates' Court heard.

Police later found two brandy bottles - one empty and one three-quarters full - in her jacket.
Kenyon, from Hipperholme, Halifax, admitted riding a motorcycle while over the legal limit at a previous hearing.

The court was told Kenyon had been giving instruction to a learner biker on March 3. But shortly after setting off she dropped her motorcycle and needed help to get back on.

After falling off her motorcycle several times, the lesson ended with Kenyon on the ground with a number of people gathered round her.

When police arrived and removed her motorcycle jacket they found two bottles of brandy.
Kenyon told officers the empty bottle had been consumed the day before and she had only had a mouthful that day.

After the last hearing in March, Roger Stanley, of Ridesafe Motorcycle
School, said Kenyon had been sacked on the day of the offence and described the events as a 'big shock'.

Kenyon had worked for Ridesafe for nine years and had been employed on a sub-contractual basis, Mr Stanley said.

There's plenty of shit riders who haven't crashed yet, they're the lucky ones,

BTW that's not aimed at you, I've never met you so I aint gunna pass judgement.

Oh man, did you think I meant you? Man, I've never even seen you ride. Why would you think I was talking about you? My comment was just meant as in if you're really pissed up, or even just on the way you're balance is affected, and that will in turn affect your ability to ride a bike, along with all the other issues alcohol consumption brings on, and that if someones riding was that bad that they probably would not notice the difference.

Ermmm...seem to remember falling off twice late one night (or was it early one morning?) after being at a party for quite some time...oh and spending fifteen minutes trying to start the bike after forgetting I had pulled the plug lead off to thwart would-be thieves...many years ago now...

But back to the point, 3 bins in 1 lesson. Fuck something must be a bit wrong with that driving instructor. I thought she would have learnt after the first crash of the day.
