    RX250 Kickstart Problem

Hey all, the problem with the Hyosung RX250 is the kickstart.

First the lever that comes with it is made of soft steel which will strip out from around the spline, aswell as the hinge bit will stretch and fall apart.
Good news, the spline is hard and wont be damaged.

You may notice it also leaks oil, this may be the seal. ($5 at bay engineers 16x28x7).
Or maybe the bearing on the clutch cover has broken off as it is only attached by a small ring of cast alloy less than 1mm thick.

    Fix:
    Remove Clutch Cover
    Sand blast paint off
take to Aluminium welder and get them to weld together and strengthen
(show them where dipstick goes so they dont interfere with that, also no alteration to outer seal housing.)
get new seal ($5 why not)
find kickstart lever off another bike, we used a ct125e
    Assemble

Go riding, assuming you've replaced the factory tyres.
