Camping and riding within 3hrs auckland

    Hi
we were thining of going up to thefarm.co'z for a few days next wk but they have 70 kids there for a camp.
Is there anywhere else like this IE good trail riding with or near camping, a farm would be gd for the kids, but whatever???
The kids just got first peewee bike so they happy with pastures and basics (not mx jumping yet) & for next week I happy with trails or some mx)

    any suggestions please

    thanks

This was advertised earlier in the year, and I seem to recall camping being offered. Not sure if it meets the 3hr limit, might be a bit over, depends where you start from in Aucks!

Google 'em for a bit more info. They let horses ride around too, so might need to check days? Haven't heard any reports, tho.

Pretty sure you can set your tent up at Thunder Cross. It would be ok there for learners to intermediate riders and ok to camp there for a sat night or two.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
