    CT110 questions

anyone know a good place to get some saddlebags for a CT110 ? - what about a new headlamp bulb ? - also how many kms do you get on reserve tank ? Oh and 1 more - where to get knobblies ?

All questions i could just go and ask the bike shop across the road but thought someone might have some better cheaper ideas - thanks

    1. Tackle a postie? Any saddlebag will probably fit, you might have to make a frame for them to sit on though. A couple of cheap backpacks strapped together is an economy solution.
    2. Take out old bulb, go to Repco/Supercheap, chances are they'll have something.
    3. Fill tank, fill 5L fuel can & strap to carrier, zero trip meter, ride until it stops. Note trip meter reading :-) Tip in spare fuel, ride on.
    4. Trademe, Bike shop, Bike wrecker for cheapies.

    Cheers
    Clint

    BULBS
I,m not shure ---but I think 1980,s car bulbs fit.
If you can get access to old cars, you may find one (or two) for free. The tabs around the edge can be ground off/ altered to make em. fit.

Neat old bikes...ride one on the rabbit for years. bit of pig with the low front guard and it fills up with mud then frezzers up over night. Pity they don't make adventure bikes with dual range gearboxes

they are old in the sense theve been around a long time, but Honda still make them so you can pick up all new stuff from a honda shop, you can pick up bulbs, filters, oil etc from supercheap type stores etc.
They do make a dual range gearbox for adv, its the bike of topic

posties have a standard gearbox but there is a farmers version with a dual range box.
The quiet scares me cause it screams the truth.

they are a sweet little bike - i have seen new models with the Hi - Lo box and the odd one on trade me but thought dino3310 was meaning they made a dual range box specifically for adventuring. I had a look on the One Ten Motorcycles site and saw the 140cc upgrade kits - that would be fun. Also some guy had fitted a 140cc chinese motor to one - awesome.
