Aslan relaxing on the porangahau Hotel veranda. All the pubs that we came across when out on route 52 seemed to be closed on Mondays

What was the fort with flag at the start of gravel on the Waikaremoana Rd? I was too scared to stop & ask.
Fort on Okahu rd cnr was our brown brothers blocking acess to my favorite hunting area-they started about 6 weeks ago when I was in there with my daughter.NO 1080,NO LIES was the slogan.Piss off- its our land was the answer when asked.Buggar-hopefully it wont last forever. No 1080 is good but the country is to beautiful to be owned by one people-it should be for everyone. If you ever have a chance have a ride up there.Good camping area and a DOC hut about 5-6 ks up the road.Great for an overnite stay.

    adventure riding noob

I was talking to someone along the way, as you do, they made a comment about having a paddock somewhere near Hamilton and suggested he might be able to persuade Clint to come up and assist with some lessons, tips and tricks, being new to adv-riding I thought this sounded like a good idea but totally failed to get some contact details

If that kind person could contact me, my lady and I would like to discuss this idea further
