I've often thought about setting up a relaxed trail ride (adv bikes only and no charge). I've got access to a couple of thousand acres near Pongaroa (50km east of Dannevirke), and a couple of hundy about 5 km north of Dannevirke. Could be good for skills practise in the summer? Long way for people to come though.

yeah mate thats the one, i always head over there to avoid the divi hill,
its good for a play like just after work or when times short, im normally back within an hour.

sometimes i'll head into the industrial area behind placeys, harvey norm area and have a play on some of the gravel carparks (figure 8s etc) theres a little area down a dead end road there that has a play area, some guys trailer to it on there MXs, its all good for 10-15 mins while on your way to the base
