Is it still called a runner if you don't know they are chasing you ??? Some of these New 1000cc bike must be able to go quite fast now adays which could lead to Police chasing them for speeding .

They tell me if your going to fast then they don't bother, just throw out a spike strip and thats the end of it...

Don't know if its true or not, but it'd do the trick

Don't know if this has been posted on here before, but this is what happens when you piss off the police and try to run on a motorcycle...

    Sorry about it being 1.5mb.

So I shouldn't mention the highchair wheelie at 299km/h I did past the highway patrol at 6.53am on 3 April 2005 on State Highway 1, Porirua on my yellow GSXR1000 rego 50SUK, and I really shouldn't mention my name is Bruce and I live at...

I still to this day fail to understand why the cops even bother chasing sometimes, I really do. It's like, fast bike vs overweight car. Duh?? If they don't get a plate, don't bother.

But getting pinged off the net? Oh bad luck dude... You'll know better next time

Had a similar experience recently where I put a recidivist drunk driver on the "Wanted" section of Police 10-7 and before I knew it, I was getting emails about a thread on the Smile City forums about the wanted person - started by a family member of the wanted woman.

She is now serving an 18 month prison sentence.

Damn I feel sorry for that guy... and he is a criminal

Whenever I see footage like that it shocks and saddens me about how vulnerable bikers really can be

    Ohh well....

that guy deserves it, if he kept his mouth shut he wouldnt be in that mess,
he also had a passenger, that not cool
its your life, gamble by all means, but dont do it with others lives
as that cop said, if he hit a pothole that two dead 17year olds

ohh and im sure i read on here somwhere about a guy going to ferry in wellington and speeding and he went for ages without checking his mirrors, and when they pulled him up and said why he didnt stop he said because i didint see you
think they let him off with max charge without having to go to court

Said in jest no doubt, but *bad taste* nonetheless!

The police have a choice, and no doubt policies in place regarding pursuit - but there has been the odd high profile one that falls into the 'could have done better basket'.

Hehehe, serves a big mouth right
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
