    King of the North

Action from the King of the North mini-motox held over the weekend.
The tussle between Maximus Purvis(#44) and Trent Collins (#12 ) was as good to watch as any national level meet I've seen - Maximus eventually stood on the top podium for the day.
The event is a real credit to the North Harbour Club as ran incredibly smoothly with tee-shirts and participation trophies to all entrants - we''ll be back!..

Yep, a good day, alright. My 2 got a podium in 4-6 LT50 and 6th in 7-8 Trail, so only one ginormous trophy to get home (and he was asleep, wrapped around it by then). A great track for the riders too - just right for all abilities. I was in sole charge, which was a bit interesting, but the whole thing was really well-run, they even got marshals in to run the flags to the mums & dads could tend to the little people.

Lots of riders from Waikato, even Napier & Gisborne, so I guess word gets around about the event. Lots of supporters too, not just riders & pit crew.

Thanks NHMMX, we'll be back next year (and next month)!

We enjoyed the day also. Daughter was 4th in LT50 class and son 6th in 50cc Trail Class 6-8yrs. This was our 2nd year at it but last year only had our boy racing.

Great event with alot of time & effort into the organisation of it.

Thanks NHMMX for an awesome day.
