I have just bought me a 2009 HD Heritage Softtail... its awesome, are their any Heritage owners (past or present) who have any advice / recommendations or acquired knowledge of these gorgeous machines that would be able to impart suchlike to me. Good and bad - I would like to know of anything that is worth knowing

    Awesome 09 Harley Heritage

I have had an 09 Heritage for a couple of months now and just love it. Awesome bike. Also have a Honda Shadow which I never ride at all and will sell it soon. Would recommend seeing your Harley dealer and getting mods done to air intake, exhaust with download. They will know what you're asking for. It will make a huge difference to torque and performance.

    Awesome Heritage

Awesome mate, great bikes. I had an 04 Heritage, infact its forsale again on Trademe I think at the mo, Teal and silver flamed one with loads of bling.

Cool bikes, practical and awesome feel as you ride. You ride in the bike instead of on the bike, it's a coaster slash shuffler.
Man I had some good times on it, I only had it 5 months and put 12000km on her. I roder her from the shop in Auckland, around the South Island and back. She was a charmer and a looker.

I am looking at a Roadking for my next bike, but doesn't look like any time soon. Goin to be 3-4 years before I can re establish my toy list again. Still got the Speed Triple for work, but no tourer..... :-(

    Ride safe.

Thanks for the tips DustyDog... I will look into that when I get back to Auckland on Tuesday.
Rogue - I had that bike on my watchlist, it looks awesome. Was intending on having a look at it until I found my one at AMPS.

Yeah, if I had the coin, I would certainly consider buyin that one back. Its actually a 1550, I put the big bore kit in it and a heap of screaming eagle gears as well. One day one day.....

    Heritage 09

Let's know how you get on with mods. AMPS in Khyber Pass Rd do a really great job. Just ask for Shane, he'll look after you.
