Bike shop closes: Mainjet in Taradale Napier is no more (KTM agent)

So I went there today to get some bits for my sons KTM 50 MX racing bike. Was gonna order some swingarm bushes (both worn), a rear guard (broken and I have fixed some time ago, but decided to get a new), a new bowl for the carbi (has a small hole in it and dribbles petrol. I used Araldite and it sorted it, but most probably will start leaking again soon). I was also gonna grab a rear and front tyre, some decent grips, and see what they had in race numbers.

But the shop was gone! Not even moved to a new place. Just gone. Bummer! (Probably happened a few months ago!)

(And before someone starts to blame me for buying over the net and causing the death of this shop: Any bits I have needed for the few KTM's I have had, I have always bought from them.)

Had a look at the KTM NZ website and found that Mainjet has already disappered from there, and closest shops are now in Palmerston Nth and Taupo. Bummer!

Probably means that when he in October moves up to 65cc we will go for a Kawasaki as I like to have a local supplier for racing bits. Or perhaps one of the other shops will pick up the agency?
