    Well, it happened like this...

Went to the spring motorcycle show this past Saturday to drool at the Ducati's as I usually do every year...but I also like the much more affordable Kawasaki's more than all the other sport bikes...but I always just end up coming back with a T-shirt and a wish...one day....

    Erm...not this time.

I fell in love with a too good to be true show deal...so I bit the bullet....along with some nice Camo bike pants, I picked up..drum roll please....a sport bike....a sister for baby #1

My first ever sport bike ride was on a Ninja back when I was 15...and since then I have always liked them and have always wanted a sport bike but have been riding only cruisers since I started riding...now my dream of owning a sport bike is about to come true...should be picking up my new 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250R Special edition on Friday...I hope!!!!!

Never ridden a sport bike before...and since I have a bum shoulder, I figured a nice light sport bike should help me recover without having to lift a large 800cc cruiser all summer....Thought I'd start off with a 250cc for now, and if I like it I will move up to a bigger sport bike later.

...we'll call this the rehab bike...lol. What do you think? i just love the look of it, can't wait to ride it home!

Yes, this gal has lost her mind...whimsical buying....but heck you only live once.

Just get out there! I'm sure you'll have a great time. Will be a big change from the cruisers.

I think you are right on the money with that idea. Have fun!

It looks great, but it needs a tail tidy to complete the look.

Well done for finally realising a dream , great feeling is'nt it ? They are very nice looking and very popular with learners.
I would be green with envy if it was something in a larger capacity.
Nothing like a new bike, maybe someday my dreams will come true too. Enjoy.
