Just admit it, LCD screen for PCIII is total overkill and "more money than sense" purchase...to be honest if he took the 300 USD it must have cost him and used the money to have bike dyno tuned and suspension properly adjusted it would have been money not wasted ....and bike would be actualy faster around race track/on the road, but then again no squids would be impressed with those mods at the local starbucks during cafe possing session, now would they? ;o)
(that goes for all the squids impressed with it while buying the bike as well....)
Yeah, you've probably got me there But I will say that I've learnt that lots of people enjoy bikes in lots of different ways.

I know of two (the Dynojet support guy mentioned there's a man in South Africa also, so maybe three) guys that are using them to populate data for their home brew virtual dyno software. The idea goes that you can take suck data out, sort it into runs, the software makes a suggested map, you take it for another ride, and it compares the runs to find out which places improved (or hurt) the actual on road performance, and then the cycle repeats to you're happy/lose interest. Alternatively they can get it to keep pulling out fuel till you get a map as economical as possible, but with as little degredation to performance as possible. I wonder if Dynojet must have gone through similar ideas on their way to the PCV Autotune. That might not seem a whole lot of fun to most people, but people get their jollys in different ways.

I can't argue against a more money than sense purchase, I have too many of those myself It looks like it's been pretty well pampered though, wouldn't be surprised if it's money spent over and above tuning/suspension work rather than in place of. Nice to have money eh
