jump on the north western, head to the city, get onto the northern and go over the bridge, get off at 'Albany' and turn left. Take note of the road and keep going till you see it. Isn't too hard. If you can score a guide tho, then can't go wrong. Can go the back roads, but that'll just confuse you more! Give yourself about 30 mins to get there

Eh - That seems a very odd way to find Botany Downs, which is out Pakaranga way. I would have said NW Mway , join to Southern, take TeIrangi (sp?) exit ,left down Te Irangi drive and it's on the right ???

    Nice Bug,

No wonder you couldn't come this afternoon to get your leathers!

Yeah, get on the m/way heading into town, get onto the Southern m/way and get off at Sth Eastern Highway (just before Mt Wellington).

Then follow that until you go over a bridge over the Tamaki esturay (water) and get to a set of lights with a car yard on one corner and a liquor king on the other (Ti Rakau Dr). Then turn right and follow Ti Rakau until you get to Botany Town Centre - easy peasy. Might take you about 40min to get there.

Oh man, why always Sat? I might drop by on the way to church and say hi?

Feint, what about those who need to go into/thru town meet at the PlaceMakers that's on the city turn off, from the northern? That way the shore bikes and west bikes can meet there, then we can cruise over to botany, since we're all going that way anyway?

    Got a leave pass

I managed to get a leave pass from wifey, and am keen to come along, also a mate of mine who lives out that way is keen also. As I am travelling from Massey happy to tag along with other westies, I am resonably familiar with that area as I work in East Tamaki. Let me know if you want to hook up, and we can sort out a place time etc.

Cheers for organising the ride, have wanted to do the ride out that ways for a while now, and at a slow pace suits me fine.
Some days it's not even worth chewing through the restraints.

How come you can't take the wife on the back of your bike....?
