    Reporting road hazards sticky

Where is the reporting road hazards sticky? A while back I remember seeing something to this effect but haven't been able to find it on a search.
Anyway watch out for roadworks and gravel on Paparata Rd as you turn off from Paparimu Rd heading West to Bombay.
If the mods know where this is supposed to go they can stick it there.

I like it better when people make a new thread for road hazards, like you just did. My eyes usually just pass over stickys and I wouldn't notice.

Ye I only ever look at stickies if I'm looking for something in particular. Noticed they are at the beginning of each forum . Have to be looking in the "right" forum to find the particular one you want or you could miss it.

At the moment you'd be far quicker listing the roads NOT covered by gravel.

He,he so true roadworks are in full swing. Only bother mentioning particularly bad gravel/roadworks.

There was an extensive discussion about stickying road hazards, and very roughly it was observed that while some people felt reassured by such a report, folks would be better served to look where they were going on the day, rely on no person but themselves, and that it was really only any use to find out if some twisty road was worth riding 45 minutes to get to and not find it covered in pea gravel.

I think some of the really dangerous and invisible hazards should be reported in their own thread, for example a large diesel oil spill on a wet road, and also favorite roads like the Rotomas if they are covered in gravel.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

    Drought Conditions

Drought conditions exist from the Waikato north. It is very important to be on the lookout for wandering stock in rural areas. They stock are breaking down fences to get to feed/water so please take care. I have seen stock out twice in the past week due to fences down.
