OK, just got a set of Pilot Road 2's for the bike. As you'll all know they have that emblem of non manhood the dreaded "chicken strips". Now to me these tyres cost a llot of money which I'll never get back if I ever sell the bike so what should I do do remedy the problem? The best solution I can think of is to number each strip for its position on the tyre then cut it off with a razorblade and store them away. Then if I sell the bike I could get them out of storage and glue them all back on with rubber glue and voila! brand new tyres again , the buyer thinks " What a bargain, brand new tyres. this guy must be simple" and I recover the intial tyre money, a win win situation for allAnybody done something similar?
On a serious note any 1200 Bandit owners running PR2's what sort of tyre pressure do you run ?
