    Yes Dave, I agree. But I'd still buy one if the price was right and they really are easy bikes to work on. The 1970s was an outstandingly poor manufacturing period for the UK. From what I have read, modern oils are kinder to engines from such an era and also replacing all gaskets from day one is a must do.

    If you ride them like a pussy, they're pretty good and that is what I would do.

    I found one for sale on ebay. It comes with a matching watch and is a bargain at.... 26 thousand pounds. (NZD $56,000)

    lol i think ill go for the cheaper one at 11995 sterling. a guy told me that VAT is 17.5%, so you can minus that, but then nz import charges 18%!. so you'd be looking at 25000$ nz for the sport edition. plus shipping, and then compliance etc here.
    I figure they are probably going to sell here for anything between 25-30g.
