damm i hope it rains, monster is always better when its wet,
I hate when it rains on the day, but im all for it raining super heavy in the days leading up to it. With no rain last year the ride was real quick and easy. Did one and a half laps real quick, untill my tyre poped.
Looking foward to it.
See you there Loyde.
What is the lenght of the ride?
around the 80 k mark, its sorta got everything in it, open and fast paddocks, fast tree sections, tight sections, a bit of mud if it rains etc, its challenging in the wet specially in the slopy clay in the forest sections. fuel stop at half way and last year they had a sausage sizzle and drink for memory if ya remember to take some cash.
hell yeah cam you ready to have a feed of some roost?
Monster 68 Km Loop (also 18km loop)
mite have to round up a posse and head to this one. nan lives in darg and i went to ruawai college, i enjoy getting up those ways be even better to have a ride![]()

I love that Tangowahine Valley Rd, the Buell gets a good workout SH14 through to Pakotai on the Mangakahia Rd as im heading up to visit me dad up in Awarua, its the long way there but the most fun ride.
could do this ride, havn't seen me dad since chrissy, good excuses stay with him and do the ride as well.
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.
