    Don't smoke anymore :)

After smoking for amlost 20 years, have now been off the smokes for 8 months, I wonder why I ever did it now.
Some days it's not even worth chewing through the restraints.

I grew up in a period when everyone smoked - you were considered a bit unusual if you didn't smoke....I'm running out of ways to be different....nah,not really, just joking.

I wsa considered vey odd and suspect because I didn't smoke. As Mr Motu says , everyone did.

I didn't simply because after trying it for a month or so when I was 16, I concluded that it was ridiculously overrated, and did absolutely nothing for me.

First ciggy " Oh wow, I'm gonna smoke a cigareete. I'm cool yeah - smoke smoke smoke - Uh when is this supposed to feel good ? ". No sick, no buzz, no nothing. Second, third etc. Just tedious , boring and tasted bad. Never got any sort of buzz or anything else. Stopped bothering after a month , just a waste of time and money.

While smoking remained universal I'd sometimes accept one if offered and smoke it (even carried a pack to reciprocate) , it was easier than the explanations and odd looks if I said I didn't. Never did anything at all for me, never been able to understand why people do it.

I've found the trend at work seems to be less guys are smoking and more gals are, and considering, at my work, guys outnumber the gals quite considerably, that's amazing.
My work has 21 staff, zero smokers. Only 4 females though...

    Yes, I smoke,
yes, I know its bad for you
    yes, I know its pointless

Most of my friends smoke, I guess its a sort of an indirect peer pressure thing.
We all started at the same time.

Tried smoking, but the idea of smoke going in my lungs doesn't appeal to me, nor does the fear of the damage it might do, so I prefferred brownies. Never tried tea though. Beer is good enough for me now though.

Haven't ever tried smoking a cigarette and don't think I ever will.
Smoking/tobacco companies is one of the things I can get a bit worked up about, particularly when I think about people I care about going for a ciggy to try to cope with stress.

    Q. Do you smoke after intercourse?
    A I'm not sure, I never looked!

Started smoking at college, gave up after my eldest was born. However, if you ply me with enough beer, I sometimes have one. In fact the last few times have been at KB related things. (@pub after Flyins funeral, Waikato Rally) You lot must be a bad infuence......
Experience......something you get just after you needed it
