K1 had that in the *late* 80s? My GS1100 had that in the *early* 80s (1982) - two circuits as described, below a certain speed they turn off after a set time, over that speed they turn off after a set distance. Little switch in the speedo for the distance measurement thing.

Likewise Kawasaki had fuel injection on the Kawasaki GPZ1100 from 1981

Ya know what, thought about that myself but it wouldent be no side car trying to be a bike.. it be a real trick, start with this sort some decent body work out and super charge the bitch... yeah as sad as it is I ride the fuker.
